Automation Tester (PROJ-4373)

Technical skills

• Hand-on experience with testing teams and familiar with various testing approaches, tools and best practices
• Roles involves overseeing the planning, design, execution, and reporting of tests to ensure that applications meets quality standards.

Essential criteria

• Responsible for working with agreed standards and tools to design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor moderately complex programs/scripts. Monitors progress, identifies issues, and collaborates in reviews.
• Support for existing automation methods and tools, configure them within known contexts, and create and update their documentation.
• Provide advice on applying automation testing to organizational planning and operations.
• Responsible for testing approaches, including manual and automated testing. Develop and execute test plans and cases and implement scalable automated tests and frameworks. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test coverage and identify process improvements. Analyse and report on test activities, results, and risks.
• Develop acceptance criteria and design test cases to ensure system requirements are met. Responsibility include report on test activities and results.

Desirable criteria

• Contribute to verify quality control activities and determine compliance with organisational standards, pinpointing any non-compliance issues.
• Develop automation testing for API’s, testing pipelines in consultation with Developers.
