Job Description

Remote is seeking a Project Manager experienced in requirements gathering and risk reduction to support Intelligence Capability Integration (ICI) Branch within the Department of Defence. The Project Manager will be part of a team responsible for revalidating Defence’s Counter Intelligence needs, requirements related to emerging Defence capabilities, and threat levels to inform capability requirements.

The Project Manager will be responsible for defining and managing the requirements and risk reduction activities within the ICI Branch. This role involves leading the development of project documentation and ensuring the effective management of capability management risks. (RFQTS – 15905)

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Definition: Lead the definition of Counter Intelligence (CI) requirements necessary for the project approach to Government. Develop and maintain the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) document suite to support government project submissions.
  • Risk Management: Support the maintenance and management of capability management risks. Plan and manage risk reduction activities to ensure the project's success
  • Develop Project Documentation: Develop ODCS capability development artefacts required for government submissions. Ensure compliance with Defence Capability Management requirements and prepare supporting documents.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across Defence, the National Intelligence Community (NIC), and the FVEY community to ensure alignment and support for the project. Provide tailored presentations and Defence briefs to stakeholders and senior leadership as directed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a project management/support role.
  • Previous experience with ODCS.
  • Familiarity with Defence Capability Management requirements and ability to prepare documents in support of the project’s progression in accordance with the Defence Capability Manual.
  • Background in Intelligence (preferred).

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
