MS Windows Infrastructure Engineers (PROJ-4457)

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

• Research, design, implement and manage software.
• Develop and operate a windows server platform including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services and WSUS.
• Design, test and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system, build and maintain system images and provide integration for VMware.
• Integrate and support management and security software and configurations.
• Provide server automation.
• Integrate with MFA solutions.
• Implement regular checks to confirm system status, including hardware and software.
• Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows issues.
• Manage server migration when required.
• As required, undertake any other tasks as requested by the Technical team.

Job Skills and Qualifications 

Essential:

• Demonstrated experience in the design, test and deployment of new versions of the Windows operating system.
• Demonstrated experience with and/or detailed understanding of security software associated with Windows operating systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment.

 Desirable:

• Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
