Remote are seeking experienced Enterprise Architects that thrive on driving change and simplifying complexity to deliver centralised enterprise technology architecture and technology portfolio management. You will play a pivotal role in achieving architectural cohesion to empower delivery of contemporary, sustainable and resilient technology capabilities. Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enterprise Architecture
- Develop an enterprise technology architecture that aligns the strategies and plans of the organisation with the intended future state and links to its business architecture.
- Provide guidance and direction on the implementation of architecture assurance and governance processes including technology reviews, technical debt management and development of reference architectures and standards.
- Lead efforts to enhance the maturity level of The Department's architecture discipline through continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Technology Portfolio Management
- Maintain a centralised catalogue of all technology capabilities across the enterprise.
- Align the technology portfolio with business strategies and implement portfolio management methodologies and tools.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for products, services, and investments and conduct regular technology performance reviews to ensure manage portfolio health.
- Contribute to development of technology portfolio strategy and demand management functions.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering-related discipline
Desirable Qualifications:
- TOGAF or other relevant industry Enterprise Architecture certification
Required Knowledge/Experience and tools:
- Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, with proven ability to develop and maintain an enterprise architecture and associated architecture deliverables, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
- Outstanding verbal/written communication abilities, including communicating technical/architectural concepts to both technical and non- technical audiences.
- Proficiency in analysing business and technical requirements to provide strategic guidance and support decision making.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering multiple lines of tasking in a resource constrained environment.
- An eagerness to learn and inspire others.
- Ability to think critically and respectfully contest ideas to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Resilience and drive to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve outcomes.
