Enterprise Architect (PROJ-4383)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Architecture

• Develop an enterprise technology architecture that aligns the strategies and plans of the organisation with the intended future state and links to its business architecture.
• Provide guidance and direction on the implementation of architecture assurance and governance processes including technology reviews, technical debt management and development of reference architectures and standards.
• Lead efforts to enhance the maturity level of The Department's architecture discipline through continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Technology Portfolio Management

• Maintain a centralised catalogue of all technology capabilities across the enterprise.
• Align the technology portfolio with business strategies and implement portfolio management methodologies and tools.
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for products, services, and investments and conduct regular technology performance reviews to ensure manage portfolio health.
• Contribute to development of technology portfolio strategy and demand management functions.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering-related discipline

Desirable Qualifications:

• TOGAF or other relevant industry Enterprise Architecture certification

Required Knowledge/Experience and tools:

• Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, with proven ability to develop and maintain an enterprise architecture and associated architecture deliverables, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
• Outstanding verbal/written communication abilities, including communicating technical/architectural concepts to both technical and non- technical audiences.
• Proficiency in analysing business and technical requirements to provide strategic guidance and support decision making.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering multiple lines of tasking in a resource constrained environment.
• An eagerness to learn and inspire others.
• Ability to think critically and respectfully contest ideas to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Resilience and drive to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve outcomes.
