Job Description
Remote is seeking Project Manager to join the team in the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC). The Project Managers will manage the delivery of inflight initiatives across all areas of the agency; particularly in the Intelligence Operations, Intelligence and Information Systems, National Police Checking Service, Corporate and Enabling Services. Role Description
The successful candidates are expected to have:
- A minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in the management and delivery of complex business and/or technical projects.
- Experience in mapping dependencies across projects and programs, as well as scheduling initiatives within a program of work.
- Ability to use, adapt, and work across various delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders and partners to plan and successfully deliver programs and projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Experience in building and promoting program vision and developing a collaborative team culture and approach to delivery of program objectives and benefits.
- Experience in developing and presenting Board papers and briefing materials for SES audiences.
- Demonstrated experience with program governance, including planning, financials, reporting, risks and issues, benefits, dependency management, etc.
- Experience with Federal Government procurement processes to successfully engage and manage 3^rd^ party vendors.
- High level interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present and communicate information and expectations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Personal resilience and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and conflicting priorities to successfully deliver under pressure within a challenging environment.
- Experience working in a small to medium sized Federal Government Agency
- Experience working on projects within the Law Enforcement or Intelligence space is beneficial.
Criteria:
- A minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in delivery of complex business and/or technical projects.

- Demonstrated experience with program governance, including planning, financials, reporting, risks and issues, dependency management, etc.

- Ability to use, adapt, and work across various delivery methodologies to successfully deliver program outcomes (such as waterfall, Agile, hybrid).
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead several multi-disciplinary teams to effectively deliver results and positively respond to change.
- Ability to build and promote program vision and to develop a collaborative team culture.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and manage third-party vendors and contracts to ensure successful delivery of requirements.
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Experience in developing and presenting Board papers and briefing materials SES audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated personal resilience and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and conflicting priorities to successfully deliver under pressure within a challenging environment.
Desirable criteria
- Experience working within a small to medium sized Federal Government agency.
- Project management qualifications and certification are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Essential Eight, ISM, and Security Maturity requirements will be highly regarded.
- Experience working within an Intelligence agency.
