Job Description

Remote is seeking Junior Systems Integrator DevOps Engineers to join the team in AGO. The Junior Systems Integrator DevOps Engineers will support the design, implementation and optimisation of the integration of hardware and software components to enhance system performance and reliability. They complete tasks such as supporting the implementation the system as designed, troubleshooting issues and system updates. The program of work has multiple projects which range in size. The successful candidate may be required to work across one or more of these projects. (LH-03641)

Role Description

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support the integration of system components as part of a system architecture with a specific focus on security (component and interface)
  • Work with stakeholders and team members to support the design of integrated ICT solutions that support organisational outcomes.
  • Configure system components and equipment for systems testing and deployment. 
  • Identify and document system integration components and associated procedures.
  • Identify and support the resolution of issues and/or problems that arise during the course of systems-of-systems integration. 
  • Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures and working cohesively and flexibly with the broader project team, key business partners and stakeholder groups.

Essential criteria

Desirable criteria

  • Linux systems integration
  • Understanding of network configuration and protocols
  • Integration and configuration of Security Monitoring tools
  • Containerisation Desirable characteristics
  • Ability to learn and adapt previous experience to solve problems
  • Experience/ interest in the development of secure systems
  • Ability or desire to learn to contribute to design discussions and option assessment.
