ICT Security Specialist (PROJ-4451)
Job Description
Remote is seeking a ICT Security Specialist to join the team in VCDF. The ICT Security Specialist will maintain SIEM, monitor firewalls and system elements for security incidents. They will develop security documentation and practices and maintain and improve security posture of system. (RFx24460)
Role Description
The ICT Security Specialist will ensure that the project maintains a strong and proactive cybersecurity posture. The ICT Security Specialist will be responsible for monitoring threats, managing SIEM tools, and leading security audits and incident responses. This successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Defence security frameworks and protecting sensitive information.
Key duties include:
- Development and maintenance of security program and policies for ICT systems
- Monitoring and administration of SEIM and other security products
- Analyse and identify security enhancements for ICT systems
- Provide expert advice in change processes and engage in risk reduction activities
- Participate in investigations into security incidents
- Complete required continuous monitoring requirements for ICT systems
