Job Description
Remote is seeking a Finance Administrator to join the team at Home Affairs. The Finance Administrator will provide administrative support to the finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing general administrative assistance. Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions, including invoices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and data records, including ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including:
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintaining our digital filing system
- Organising meetings, appointments, and events
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and other financial tools to support financial analysis and reporting
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Desirable Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a finance administrative role
- Certificate or higher in Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Knowledge of (or willing to learn) financial regulations and compliance
Required Knowledge/Experience and tools:
- Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Spreadsheets, Objective
- A knowledge of Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and analysis
