Job Description
Remote is seeking Business Analysts to join the team in Home Affairs. The Business Analyst will be accountable under the general direction of a Senior Business Analyst / Program Manager for the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business goals, objectives, functions and processes, the information used and the data on which the information is based. The role will involve working with business stakeholders, project managers, system architects and development personnel. (RFQ-HA-28-2025)
Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Is accountable for investigating business needs, problems and opportunities and recommends effective business and ICT changes (processes, systems, people, information)
- Applies intermediate knowledge of business analysis methods and techniques to understand and articulate business requirements and business objectives
- Constructs documentation to support the requirements definition, including but not limited to: requirements specifications, process maps, service design artefacts, functional and non-functional requirements, change management implications, data and reporting considerations.
- Analyses complex ICT business problems and applies expertise to identify any courses of action
- Identifies potential business options to realise business improvements
- Contributes to and manages activities for planning, development, enhancement and implementation of broader phases of projects and systems
Desirable Qualifications:
- IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
- IIBA Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
- IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
Required Knowledge/Experience and tools:
- Minimum 3 years Business Analysis experience
