Security Policy Officer (PROJ-4389)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret, draft and review policy and procedural directions within specialist areas
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of wider agency policies and objectives
• Draft frameworks, policy, and procedural documents for review and publication
• Prepare draft reports, briefing papers, and discussion papers for review by Executive level employees
• Provide expert advice on more complex areas of policy
• Develop draft policy advice for presentation to the Executive
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and participate in forums and working groups
• Conduct research and analysis activities in support of new governance initiatives

Technical skills

• High level of ICT proficiency encompassing experience using standardised office software including, Microsoft Office, and Records Management platforms
• Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Highly developed briefing and facilitation aptitude.
