Job Description

The ICT Project Manager leads the ICT project lifecycle, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and aligned with organisational quality standards. By applying a range of project management principles and practices, the Project Manager drives project initiation, development, and delivery, supported by a proven ability to produce high-quality governance documentation. The Project Manager leverages advanced negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to manage complex partnerships across internal and external delivery providers for the successful implementation of ICT solutions. Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project activities and deliverables in accordance with organisation practices and standards.
  • Lead and direct cross-functional teams to successfully deliver project objectives.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement management and resource management.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities, incorporating them into planning, decision-making, and priority setting.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, team members, and other stakeholders, using negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Analyse project performance, develop strategies to achieve outcomes, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project documents, reports, and submissions for senior leadership and committee consideration.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification.
  • AIPM CPPM and/or CPSPM Certification.

One or more of the following:

• Certificate IV Project Management Practice

• Diploma of Project Management

• Advanced Diploma of Project Management

Required Knowledge/Experience and tools:

  • 3-10 years project-related experience and/or Project Manager role
  • Able to apply and tailor project management methodologies and practices, e.g. PRINCE2 and PMBOK.
  • Proficiency using project management tools.
