Job Description
Remote is seeking a Senior Solution Cyber Security Architect to join the team at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. The role is a highly specialised requiring experienced technical cyber resources focusing on technology strategies to reduce departmental and client agency security risk. They will support the design and implementation of ICT solutions, services and capability to align with ACSC and ASD directives, and Cyber best practices. Lead the delivery of cyber security activities to meet changes to the ISM and PSPF requirements. ( LH-06157)
Role Description
Key duties and responsibilities
- Providing technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs in relation to security architecture best practices.
- Experience in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system integration designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
- Raising awareness of security issues with technical and non-technical departmental staff.
- Implementing Essential Eight which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
Technical skills
- Experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Experience implementing Essential Eight in Government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
Essential criteria
- Demonstrated Federal Government experience minimising cyber security vulnerabilities and uplifting cyber security capability through secure by design practices.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, in particular technical cyber security architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and providing cyber architecture guidance on application and system integration designs relating to PSPF, ISM and in particular Essential Eight.
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of Operational Technologies will be an advantage.
