As part of the AI & Frontier Technologies team, you will contribute to the application of cutting-edge technologies and innovative approaches to help further our organization’s vision through the delivery of AI solutions. Role Description
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in AI/ML technologies, delivering production capabilities as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will play an important role in developing and deploying machine learning models, proof-of-concepts, and AI solutions alongside machine learning and software engineers to provide critical capabilities to our organisation and its stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Agile delivery practices, experience delivering solutions using commercial cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), experience with DevOps and MLOps practices, the ability to work autonomously under broad direction, and excellent communication skills.
Experience with the following technologies is essential:
- Natural Language Processing
- Deep Learning
- Classification
- Python
Relevant ICT qualifications and/or industry certifications, and experience in the DevOps and MLOps product lifecycle from inception to production, are also required.
Experience with the following technologies would be highly desirable:
- Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably AWS CDK)
- AWS (particularly Serverless application delivery)
Key duties and responsibilities
AI & Automation:
- Write and deliver AI & Automation components in collaboration with software and machine learning engineers.
- Develop production capabilities as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Emerging Technologies:
- Contribute to the application of emerging technologies and innovative approaches to support the agency's vision.
- Deliver solutions using the AWS platform, with a strong emphasis on serverless applications.
Communication:
- Maintain excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Criteria:
- Extensive experience in AI/ML technologies and proven ability to deliver successful Machine Learning models and AI solutions using techniques and technologies such as Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Classification, and Image Recognition.
- Proven experience in DevOps and MLOps product lifecycle from inception to production. Experience in Full Stack Development.
- Relevant ICT qualifications and certifications.
Desirable criteria:
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably AWS CDK)
- Experience with AWS (particularly Serverless application delivery)
- Effective communication skills with ability to explain or translate complex models and findings to business stakeholders
