Remote has an effective track record in providing professional services to Defence and Industry for almost twenty years. Having undertaken many complex and challenging projects, often involving multi-disciplinary teams, the services have always been delivered with a strong legacy of successful results.

National Security

Remote is active in the delivery of projects in the national security arena, including a wide range of classified and unclassified projects. Project management, software development and systems administration for projects being delivered under DEF21 and DEF2044 and many more, are key components of Remote's business. Examples include the acquisition and project management of the BONFIRE desktop and the Advanced Analytic Environment.

Major Capabilities

Efforts by Remote in the area of Major Capabilities have involved the development and/or coordination of project documentation suites for a range of significant Australian Defence projects. Such development and documentation is required in seeking approvals under the Australian Defence Capability Program. Projects include DEF21, DEF223, DEF2044, DEF499, DEF7013, DEF828, DEF333, DEF101 and DEF102, along with the Australian Cyber Program initiated as an Australian Government New Policy Proposal.


Examples of just a few of the complex technical assignments undertaken for Industry across Australia and the region include the specification of the Intelligent Access Program (an Australia-wide regulatory GPS tracking regime), the specification of an Airport Pavement Management System for Sydney Airport, the specification and development of a network level road survey management database used in developing an inventory of the Indonesian road network, facilitation of the design of a secure, redundant WAN for the Hong Kong securities clearing house and development of an acceptance test plan for a voice and data network spanning 10 countries across Asia-Pacific.
